Questions and comments, week 1, 2010

Feel free to post here about anything but housekeeping matters, for which email is probably best. Any questions about course content, where we are at any time and where we're going, discussions about readings, all can go here. The more people join in to answer others' questions the better. I'll be keeping a close eye so anything that doesn't seem quite right or somehow misses something I'll be ready to jump in. Far better for a "collective intelligence" to start operating rather than the old expert pronouncing from on high manner of operating. The former is usually better at self-correction and creative approaches than the latter.
