Developing your own paper topics

Many of you who decided to develop your own topics are well on your way, this post doesn't apply to you. From today on those who are looking for a topic will be better served by one of the suggested topics. For one thing you won't have had responses from us on your proposal and it is probably too late to get a consultation cycle going.

Learn@uw has continued its merry spree of link serial killing, thanks to those of you who have pointed them out. When I upload a document for a second time you will usually find it at the bottom of the section with some kind of short title: don't try clicking the original link. I want to keep it there to prove to DOIT that the file is there and that the link works for me, but that students get 404 errors.

Patterson's Slavery and Social Death is to be found in the "Supplementary Readings" section at the bottom. They've made it either harder or different to move readings from one section to another. It used to be easy - probably still is - but for the moment I can't figure it out.
